Dr. Lindsay's Veterinary Service is dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive medical care for horses of both the North and South shores of New Orleans, including the following surrounding areas: Amite, Slidell, Covington, Folsom, Destrehan, St. Rose, Raceland, Des Allemands, Luling, Ama, and Belle Chasse.
A healthy horse is a happy horse! The best way to avoid health problems is to maintain proper healthcare throughout the year. Dr. Lindsay will assist you with the necessary vaccinations, worming, dental care, and laboratory testing required in maintaining a happy healthy horse. She will take into consideration your horse’s job, environment and health status in planning the year’s health maintenance schedule.
In case of emergency, Dr. Lindsay is readily available by phone to assist you and your horse in times of need. She will give instruction and advice on what to do while she is en route to your location. Once she arrives, a quick assessment will be made and a plan will be formed. She will be sure to inform you of estimated costs, concerns, side effects and expectations prior to carrying out treatment. Communication is key in keeping an excellent veterinarian-client-patient relationship.

Dr. Lindsay graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Her practice services both the Northshore and Southshore of New Orleans and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to Emergency Service, General Health Maintenance and Dentistry, Pre-purchase / Lameness, Medicine and Minor Surgery, as well as Reproductive Management.
Dr. Lindsay lives in Covington with her husband Chris and their two daughter's Payton and Alex. She is a proud member of the AAEP, LVMA, AVMA, AQHA, APHA and LSU Alumni.
